A delicious Crab Xacuti recipe that we cooked up while we were in Goa, can be made with a ready mix or with our authentic goan xacuti masala used for all meats.

Apa De CamaraoApa De Camarao

Apa De Camarao, is something like a prawn pie, its a special kind of dough with a prawn stuffing. It does not have to be like the stuffing in this recipe, people use prawn balchao or any other masala prawns.

Prawn RissolesPrawn Rissoles

An authentic Portuguese appetizer, the Prawn Rissole is one of my favorites, the filling melts in the mouth with a savoury taste and then the taste buds tickled as you chew on the prawn stuffed inside.

This curry is a fairly simple recipe to make and does not consume much time. Its a non spicy yellow curry, used for fish, prawns and vegetables. Let's take a look at what goes into making a delicious Goan Caldine Curry

What is a Goan Food blog without the fish curry recipe? Xitt Codi is the staple diet of a goan anywhere across the world. Lets take a look how you make the authentic tangy goan fish curry to have along with rice.

This dish is known as the Prawn and Bendé curry, that's what we call it at home. Its been one of the dishes we have virtually grown up on. This is also the first Goan sea food recipe on the blog, suprisingly!

Hi,
Im a big fan of Goa and Goan food.
I keep trying these recipes whenever i start missing my Goa trips. Just came through this blog while i was searching for Authentic Goan food recipe. Actually I simply love any sea food in Goan Rechado Masala. I have tried this recipe from almost 4-5 different sites, but none of them were even closer to what i had near a 100 times at number of shacks and restaurants in Goa. They tasted equally great. On my trips to Goa, I keep trying variety of sea food in same Masala, im so in love with it.
I was excited to find your blog but couldn't find it here. I wish you share the "Rechad masala" recipe either on your blog in sea-food section or mail me personally on my email ID.

Apart from "Rechad Msala" Im also a big fan of Prawn Butter garlic and Goan Fish curry..yumm.
I manage to prepare them really well. And now I have found your site, surely it will add to my love for Goan cuisine.

Cheers,
Amit
