Goan Recipes:

Goan Recipe's Chef, Yvette FernandesOur Goan recipes are derived from a cookbook handed over to me by my mother Yvette Oliveira Fernandes, who's known by people in family circles, friends and people from across the world for the magic she churns out it the kitchen. Her delicious Marzipan has been sent all the way to Switzerland from here in Bombay.

She owes most of it to her mother Ophelia Lobo who at her ripe age of 90 years still spends 80% of her time in the Kitchen making Bibinca for anyone who gives her a little present, toddling on her walking stick.

Why am I Sharing these Recipes?

At this time and age, culture is fusing together with access to information from around the world. I have done my bit to provide the Goan culture and heritage, through a way anyone would love to experience it, by playing with your taste buds and make your stomach growl for more.

About Goan Food:
